Learn How to Crochet Light Heart Dishcloth for Valentine’s Day

Hi I’m Donna Wolfe from naztazia.com Today I’ll show how to make this light heart dish cloth or decoration. I’m using some Red Heart yarn and a size H hook. To begin make a slipknot and chain 18. Skip the first
three chains and in the fourth chain make 5 double crochet stitches. One two three four and five. Make 1 double
crochet in each of the next four chains One Two Three and four. Then make a double crochet five
together stitch. Begin one double crochet but don’t finish it. Begin double crochet number two, then number three, then four, and finally five. Yarn over and
pull through all loops on your hook. Next make 1 double crochet in each of
the next 4 chains. One two three and four. Finally make six double crochet
stitches in that last chain. One Two Three, four, five, and six. Pivot the work slightly to
continue on the opposite side of the chain. Make 1 double crochet in each of
the next six chains. 2 3 4 5 and 6. Make 5 double crochet stitches all
in the next chain. One Two Three four and five. Make one double
crochet in the last six chains. One two three four five and six. Slip stitch to the
beginning chain three. Working in spirals begin with a chain
three. Make 1 double crochet in that same space. Place two double crochet stitches in
each of the next five stitches. There’s one. And two more into number two. Two double crochet in number three. There’s number four and in number five
two more double crochet stitches. Next make 1 double crochet in each of
the next two stitches. We’re going to do our double crochet
five together stitch again. One two three four and five. Then pull through. Make 1 double crochet in each of the
next two stitches. 1 & 2. And on this side we’ll do 2 double crochet stitches in
each of the next 6 stitches. So 2 in number one, 2 double crochet in number
two. 2 stitches in number three. 2 in four. And 2 in number five. And six. Next make 1 double crochet in each of
the next 8 stitches 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 & 8. Next make 5 double crochet stitches all
in the next chain. And 5. Finally 1 double crochet in each of the next 8 stitches.
And 8. Slip stitch to the chain 3. Chain 3. Make one double crochet in the same
space. First do a double crochet in the next
stitch then two double crochet in the next stitch. That completes number one.
Next do a double crochet then two double crochet and that is number two. Double crochet followed by two double
crochet. That completes number three. Double crochet two double crochet that
was number four. And finally double crochet two double
crochet for the number five. Do one double crochet in the next stitch. Do the double crochet five together stitch. And one double crochet in the next
stitch. Reverse what we did before start with
two double crochet in the next stitch and then one double crochet in the next
stitch. That completes number one. Two double crochet then a double crochet. That completes
number two. Two double crochet, double crochet. And that’s number three.
Two double crochet, double crochet, that’s number four. And
finally two double crochet, double crochet, for number five. Make two double crochet in the next stitch. Then make one double crochet in each of
the next ten stitches. And ten. Then do five double crochet all
in the bottom stitch. Followed by one double crochet in the
next ten stitches. And ten. Slip stitch to the chain 3. For
the edging, chain 4. Place a slip knot on your hook with
the white yarn. Slip stitch into the stitch before the pink yarn. Chain four. Hold the pink yarn and chain forward.
Then single crochet with the white yarn. Chain four. Hold the white yarn forward then single
crochet with the pink yarn. Chain four, hold the pink yarn forward, single crochet. Chain four. Continue this process around
the entire heart. At the end I just do my four chains with each color then hand
sew the last two loops in the back. And that’s how I make this light heart
dishcloth decoration.

You are, by far, the best crochet video producer on the internet! I love your videos! Your visual impact is stunning. Your nails are always perfect, your voice tone is calming, your background is spotless, your pace is perfect, your yarn colors are so happy, and your overall presentation is charming! I'm always transported to a crochet candy land, when I watch you crochet!

O maravilhoso de tudo isso é que eu não preciso entender o que vc está falando e nem tão pouco traduzir. A sua maneira de fazer o vídeo já é o suficiente pra entendermos a peça!! Parabéns

Hi Naztazia!! Very beautiful thank you, this project is perfect 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤❤❤❤❤💖❤💖👏👏👏👏👏👏

Hi Donna Love your videos, just curious would you have a pattern for an extension in order to make a blanket for this pattern.

Is there a way to carry on with this pattern to make it in to a blanket?
I love this it looks so lovely 😍

Love it you've introduced me to a new way to make a heart. The outer edge is new to me also, I just love this. The edging is so cool too. It is such a beautiful project.
