Awesome job with the watercoloring, & it is called spotlight coloring. Really neat effect, & I love the end result. Thank you so much for sharing this today. Take care, & have a fantastic day! 🙂

I’m loving this series. For me truly limiting my self in some way (or many) helps me to be the most creative and it’s how I come up with some of my best cards.

Right now I’m in the middle of a multi-month cross-country move and all my stamps, inks, paper cutter, etc are packed up for the duration of the move. I’m having to challenge myself with more original art. It’s really good for me.

All this has me really thinking about how I’m going to approach things when I set up my new craft space on the other side.

Oh question – you’re a designer. How do you decide when to do original work (I know for you, lettering is comfortable for you for example) vs using stamps. I’m struggling with this a bit.

I JUST got this Hero Arts/Gina K stamp set in the mail today! I loved how big it was and I loved the roses! I'm going to watercolor mine with the Altenew metallic watercolors – just for something a little different! LOVE your spotlight card and the different color combinations you used. Beautiful!

Well I was looking for a unique way to make a Valentine’s Day card this year and I simply love this idea. You’re so very sweet to share how you create, with clear directions from start to finish. Thnx for sharing.

I have that stamp set and I love it. I really like the way you did the spotlight effect on the flowers. The colors you chose created a very dramatic card.

Not sure if others have said but tis Spotlight technique as putting a spotlight on one part of image, that’s how I know it Kristina, and love your work, God bless you and I pray for your land too, prayer hugs, Shaz in Oz.x

I love to watch you water color. This technique is so pretty. I do not understand the thumbs down you are getting. This is a two thumbs up from me to you. Thank you for the great video.

Very beautiful, I love the bright colors and how it came out on your card. For sure I am going to use this technique too.

Adore this series…I did similar card last month with a Christmas Wreath, white embossing, beige cardstock and colours. Had to fussy cut but it didn't look as fabulous as yours!

This is such a lovely card Kristina, I love this technique, definitely need to try this out! As always, thank you for sharing your time & creativity, hugs!!!

LOVE LIVE LOVE This Kristina! Ive done this technique before (1 of my faves) i think its called spotlight technique. Gorgeous, as always 😍

Thank you so much for this! I ordered that stamp set a few days ago, & am so excited to get & use it! I fell in love with it when it came out, but couldn’t afford it. Scrapbook.com had it marked down to $15, & I couldn’t pass that up!!!
